weekend guide: blasts from the past edition

all it took to press the start button was a long drive to visit a friend who's been in the hospital for nearly a week, the reason for which shall remain unknown until i learn how to spell the diagnosis correctly. rich and i were on a roll swapping stories that were both embarrassing and amusing. you see i have already fogotten how i froze whenever this one particular guy was in a proximity of at least 10 meters away from me. yes, it was that bad. although he wasn't my biggest, i hate to use the word but fine, crush then the thought of him had me smiling all evening. i can be cheesy i know. in case you're wondering we're still friends now and i'll reco him to all the other girls out there. over pasta and cake at pastry passion, we continued to dissect our seemingly odd taste in guys but i'm happy to say that rich agrees that i made good choices i.e. one of them might even be a future cannes winner ;)

in one's life there will always be those people who might not now everything about you but who knows a part of you that others might not know of. cherry knows about and shares my passion for sports. our highs then were watching from the sidelines and getting to know the people behind the glitz and glamour of their respective sports. in the course of immersing ourselves in championship series and swooning at some of the campus celebritites, we formed a bond that brought us to where we are now - to two people who decided to meet up for brunch at 10am in gram's diner and wrapped up at around 330pm in fic ice cream bar. che saw me not so discreetly keep my loyalty to someone from a rival team all those years and now she's here again to see me through a quite similar situation.
i thought that after i resumed to my OC-ness with paper works, indulged myself with my fave movie food combo - oliver's egg mayo and mango big chill, agreed to watching a kung fu movie i know nothing about that i'd be totally back to the here and now and then sunday came.

i met up with a third of the ebench for some food trip at som's followed by dessert at fic ice cream bar again. we talked about past loves and possible gossip girl entries we can come up with based on then and now. we babbled about our crazy theories and we closed the night with a set-up of one of us to this guy who used to be a college geek now unanimously voted as a certified hottie. looks like the sunday club is here to stay.
it's really okay that i missed the F1 spanish grand prix qualifying and race day for all of these. i actually enjoyed every bit of it so until next time. =)
p.s.
i discovered there is nothing too much with God because he gave me the ferrari 1-2 finish i asked for in the post script of my previous entry ;)
