thanks for the little everyday things ;)
dear God,it's been quite a while. i know that we talk here and there but most especially when i'm down. so now for a change i just want to say thanks for the little things that make the seemingly big problems small.
it's weird how i knew i had to go to mass today but only remembered it was my tatay's birthday late in the evening. thanks for saving me from forgetting a big day such as this.
it's also great that you found a common free time for me and D. she surprised me by dispensing the kind of advice i need with "if your really like him enough" being the qualifying phrase that ended the dilemma. and by the way the answer is no. sometimes it's that easy to let go.
positive distractions also came in handy. decky's late night text inviting me to be ninang to jesca catalina was happy news. reminded me of the family i'm terribly missing these days.
spur of the moment tea date with zar was superb. it gave us the energy to tackle the upcoming projects we have to do at work. i really missed her and it was nice to be on the same page and at the same time provide each other with the much needed laugh and again perspective.
a frantic call from my best friend in davao was another welcome distraction. she's torn between taking a vacation to vietnam with the boyfriend and staying here for work. for others it's easy but for crazy people like us who are members of the workaholics anonymous, it's hard so i told her she needs to get away, that's rehab for you.
and last but certainly not the least, thanks again for danica patrick's win in japan. with raging girl power in my heart, as cheesy as it may sound, it will now be easier to move on.

p.s. would it be too much to ask for 1-2 ferrari finish in the upcoming spanish grand prix? ;)
