why i like rainy days
it's all because of D! staying in is the best thing to do when raining but not when you have cravings for chocolate!!! last thursday D was stuck in her apartment because she had no class. i knew she would not die of boredom even with her all caps text IM BORED. later that evening she got her share of action. clad in my friday clothes, D in her pambahay and armed with my all weather smart addict umbrella we ventured to 711 all the way to the other side of rockwell. it was fun at first with the drizzling rain. D suggests that we just buy in rustan's (light bulb! undoubtedly it's nearer) but then i gave her the "sure in that outfit look!" which made her shriek and both of us laughed at the realization that pambahay outfit is not a good idea when put side by side with power plant. then the storm suddenly made its presence felt but we looked funny as we kept laughing and walking slowly until heaven came into view, at last 711, that made me skip with delight. we took our time buying not just chocolates as originally planned (D even considered buying stationery, hmmm, things that boredom can do to you) eventually we went home with ice cream in hand (yes! i love ice cream in cold weather) and whole lot of other goodies including a gossip magazine! it was super duper happy day indeed =)(9:53 AM) ♥ tal
