as june comes to an end
i hoped to finish my june book later tonight but knowing me i stayed up until around 3 am this morning to finish the kite runner ... it was a heavy read but i loved what it was about ... we are all bad in many ways and sometimes we feel like we are beyond redemption but the book's resounding message echoed through my heart "there is a way to be good again" ... so now as i wait for D to be done dressing up so i can leave for work and so she can do her thesis, i'll remind myself to find ways to be good again!i wonder if being good again includes enduring watching the lakehouse again, haha! il mare was demoted to being a restaurant...so sad but okay it wasn't so bad the second time around =)
