saturday night live with j and ma
the heavy downpour yesterday made me feel sick. i actually like rains but when it rains like crazy just when you stepped out that's a different story. thankfully the interview with the bantay bata social worker reminded me that there are people with bigger problems than worrying about the rain. i made it home but i went straight to my bed to sleep. i texted jonneroo that i'm sick so he and mama nelia passed by my place after the wedding of two of their college friends. i was asleep then but i felt their presence, hehe. that's why i really miss j when he's out of the country because he spoils me a lot especially when it comes to food! he's always ready to lend a helping a hand and his long distance phone calls alwasy makes me feel better! now back to food, he told me i have to eat soup so the three of us trooped to north park. of course it can't be just some congee place because my two friends were fashionably dressed, i looked like a yaya but i didn't mind i was sick for crying out loud. i felt so much better afterwards. i'm guessing it was not much of the wanton soup but the care of j and the scandalous tidbits of ma. thank you guys for last night. i love my friends so much! now you know why my family need not worry about the fact that i am living alone away from home =)i missed the wimbledon finals because i couldn't stay awake, i'm glad amelia mauresmo won. acutally it's fine whoever won because it's both their first time...i hope federer wins but nadal's also cool, we'll see later...but france definitely has to win!
