weekend getaway
i've been feeling great these days. aside from taking it easy and going with the flow, i learned to ward away stressors by downing myself with positive energy. such energy abound in singapore! i shop like a man and i dread dressing up but not when i've finally decided to travel and spend the weekend away from manila. i love manila but it is indeed best to get away every now and then and go somewhere else, it doesn't have to be singapore but for me and for that weekend it was singapore. i don't know if it was because i was with erika or that the place has that familiar rockwell feel but i simply enjoyed it and though i don't think i can stay there to work i wouldn't mind coming back soon or maybe next year for the singapore night race;)during that short tirp i managed to sneak in heartfelt conversations somewhere in between all the fun that made me realize we are indeed grwoing up. i am happy that i am surrounded by people who are growing up with me as well. no one gets left behind, we go through the same things and we come out victorious in our own way. there are still the ideal black and white stand on certain issues but we have learned to go beyond our comfort zones. there is still that sense of longing for family but the decisions we make are proofs that we have gone a long way from just being physically indepenent of our loved ones.

i was so caught up with all that singapore has to offer that i missed the F1 race (so not me!) my kimi won (he jus tmade my week!) so i'm watching the replay scheduled at 3AM...i know it'll be totally worth it just like the nearly sleepless singapore nights =) thanks again ekay dearest!
shoutout to friends who were just as excited for me: BF, D, cile, grunch, kara, ther, janus, jaq and teppy...your texts fired me up! haha
