juan pablo montoya rules ...

this time in NASCAR! check out www.nascar.com and know why i've been a fan of this guy even when most people in F1 have moved on to cheer for the young guns. i guess i'll catch some NASCAR races soon. =) now if only danica patrick will win big like this, i'll be the happiest fan alive! oh actually kimi has to start winning again too, maybe the france grand prix will give me just that ;)

what to during office "downtime" (as i would call it)?

listen to Maroon 5's rockin' It Won't Be Soon Before Long Album on my ipod over and over again while checking out what's happening to richelle (i miss you dear!) who's on review mode, den all the way in australia and other close friends who blog...only because i came in early for work (otherwise i'd be doing all these things at my place) to eat breakfast with vaning and not because there's work to do for as usual work starts when people come in and that's not until 11. also i refuse to stare at the F1 calendar which is the first thing i see whenever I decide to look around my desk because soon after i'll be asking myself again for the nth time, what's happening to my kimi (and then cry...)?!

shout out to BF in NY, it was sooooo nice talking to you! good luck to your cingular bill ;)

Why I wear a LIVESTRONG band?

The band was about a specific cause, to be sure, but it had also turned out to be something universal. It wasn't just about rallying behind Lance Armstrong the cyclist but about supporting the Lance who'd surviced cancer and found a way each and every day of his life to challenge his mental, physical, and emotional limits. The yellow band became, in essence, a symbol of hope and faith that was just as powerful to its wearer as the rosary beads were to the pilgrims who'd made their way to Lourdes. It was as if by wearing the bracelet, the average person could be inspired to live a more courageous life. The yellow coloring, so obviously a symbol of Tour greatness, reinforced that notion.

The stars above are too far us to reach, but we can use them to guide us home on a dark night. A yellow wristband. A silver bracelet. The smell of freshly packed lavender. The warmth of the sun. A man gliding forward on a bicycle. The things we chase, the things we follow, the fight within us. That's what Chasing Lance was all about. And even if he were never to ride again, I'd know where to find him.

It is what it is.

And I get it now. Thanks to Martin Dugard.

there's something about...

being alone...not in a sad sense but just as is. i love people around me but always i take a step back and enjoy ME so last night after quite a long time i decided to jog (fine walk, haha) around rockwell to the delight of my conscience who has been nagging me these past few months to do some sort of healthy activity. so now i think i am back on track again - to working on my resolutions and being positive that one day i will be able to crash out something because it's finally done.

gyn...i enjoyed every minute i spent with her even at times when i felt so tired already. i think there is so much more she can share with me and so much more to tell her about me. she's leaving tomorrow for the US to get married to a wonderful man named mike and to start a new life across the globe. friends come and go but they stay in our hearts and i must say that gyn will stay in my heart. i know it will take a lot of effort to keep in touch but all that matters to me now is the thought that once in my life i had a ginetsky to laugh and cry with. i love you my ginetsky!

loved ones...they make or break my days even if they don't intend to and i choose to welcome every bit of those moments =)
