chicken soup star struck
i met jack canfield yesterday. i was one of the last people in line waiting to have my book signed so i was not hoping for a chit chat but we had one and here's how it went:JC: hi, how are you doing? what's your name?
ME: it's crystal
JC: c-r-y-s-t-a-l, and what do you do crystal?
ME: (stammering) i do marekting for one of the television stations here
JC: do you like what you do?
ME: (smiles) and i also write.
JC: i hope you still have time to do that. i always tell people that if they write one page a day, they can come up with a book in a year.
ME: (defensive and hollow) yeah, i read that in your book. i do freelance writing. i hope to write a book someday too.
JC: that's good. i wish you well.
ME: (wanting to get out of there fast) thank you and i'll see you on monday at your talk.
JC: i'm looking forward to that.
waaaaah! i think it wasn't that i was star struck, i was asked some of life's important questions by a life coach and i could not give a decent answer anyway here's what jack canfield wrote for me:
