food is the only thing that can get me moving
i was dead tired last night but just one text from din for a dinner out and i'm alive again...som's noodle was not enough, we walked all the way to 711 pa for ice cream!!! the things you do for food and for your best friend =) i watched devil wears prada last monday with friends and it was cool! it was also nice hanging out with D, P and K at coffee bean after the movie =)(9:45 PM) ♥ tal

that's coming from my best friend D...come on you were half asleep when i was telling you about f1 because you were so tired from "playing" volleyball! hehe...anyway it was felipe massa's first grand pix win last night so D remember his name because that's a big feat. i know you like minis but he drives a ferrari okay? =) marco andretti also made history when he won the sonoma prix in IRL (and he's only a teenager!), he's now in the same league as his dad and grandad...danica finished 8th but all's well =) the sad thing about yesterday was that ateneo lost, i guess you can never have it all but still ONE BIG FIGHT!!!(3:26 PM) ♥ tal

i heart NY even if i've never been there =)
jonneroo's call got cut, he used up all of his load that is why click and then gone, hehe. just as i was about to send him an email, he pops out on a ym window so we resort to chatting. you see i oppose long distance romantic relationships, i think they never work. if you are in a long distance relationship and it's working let me know, hehe. but with friends it's different. even if you don't hear from them for a long while, you pick up where you left off once you see each other again. if you do hear from them often, it always makes your day. it's sad when they leave but i think it spices up everything and that's what makes the friendship even more special. i have more than one best friend and each of them i hold dear in my heart because each one of them "completes" me in a unique way. i've never been to NY but i'm just fine knowing that one of my best friends is there. i really gotta sleep now, i know it's morning there but it's almost 1 am here and i really have to go work tomorrow since i missed today...keep rocking NY BF! =)(12:34 AM) ♥ tal

tooth fairy
i am having my first toothache experience and it's not good but this doesn't mean that i'm giving up my sweets, never! maybe i'll ease up but no total eradication will ever happen, hehe. D kept making fun of my face...and i call her my best friend?! but oh i loved her again because of FIC strawberry ice cream pint. yes, i'm cheap i mean come on she knows i looove chocolate, hehe. anyway parej and gf pam visited with ta-da gonuts in tow. talk about sweet friends, hehe so you see i can never give up my sweets... even my friends know so! i'm still at home and although the swell's now smaller i still don't feel like going to the dentist. so how was my long weekend? it was a blast! seriously it was fun staying in with D...i finished two books, i finally got to watch benchwarmers, i watched High School Musical for the nth time, i even got to cook adobo and everyone loved it! we did go out on sunday to go to mass and for D to study and do her grocery at the mall and yeah we also went to the vintage bazaar but as in it was just like skating around so it was that fast (so D can't buy anything!). this morning i had to give this talk to a company where i am consultant, the team needed it because their event is on monday already so i can't postpone it to a later date. this is a fun and worthwhile loooong weekend for me. i think the tooth fairy knew it would be so she sprinkled some ache in me, hehe(1:38 PM) ♥ tal

as in videoke but not in red box and not with friends...well we eventually had fun after a loooong time of dullness and in the end it was for a friend who made me cry when i learned she resigned - zara...there's something about office events that will never make me feel comfortable especially when the boss is around so one of my fave bonding activity with friends was reduced to an office despedida and nothing more...it's better that way, to have fun with one night only corporate specials and reserve the uber moments with pals who've been there forever...i can't get off the following lyrics in my head:

signs of times
i just finished my july book last night and it's almost mid-august...it was my birthday and the launch of the philippine idol last month so i have to cut myself some slack and anyway the book was a real eye opener at the twilight time of 6 months on the same job...from solitaire mystery by the same author of sophie's world:

dvd marathon weekend
and i'm not talking about just three movies...this is big time! 6 CD's of two hours each!!! finally a real marathon and i was the last one standing...first booted off was dindin then janus, hehe =) cecilia, koreanovelas are made for giggling tweeners so it's okay and then once it's near the end you realize gosh this is so not real life so you hate yourself for liking it so much, haha! i still like shotgun marriage over my girl, i mean those japanese can make mean telenovelas pala! anyway, i still have 3 cd's to go and janus says the last 3 ones are the funny ones with a revelation of stoic acting skills that have no hope so we'll see =)and what a great F1 weekend, i heart you hungary leg...it was so exciting! it was sad to see kimi crash since i was betting on him but wait alonso also bowed out because of a bad pitstop and then there's more michael schumacher gave up on his tires towards the end of the race so there were new faces on the podium...button after 116 races finallly won! it was really so much fun, my bets didn't make it but what the - it was a great race!!!

i should have gone with jonneroo to the airport (at least he called me after he's gone through customs, i can't wait for the story!), picked up my ate shawie (who'll be here until saturday for work) and spent the day with her since today is her full free day rather than endure the hours at the office with nothing to do but evade the face of the person i am so annoyed with and doing things i shouldn't be doing like bothering other people and watching grey's anatomy - 3 freakin episodes - but not being able to enjoy as much because you have to constantly watch your back in case someone's coming to check up on you!!! oh well at least i finally got to visit mall of asia and catch up on family updates=)(12:10 AM) ♥ tal
