punta fuego ramblings
i am not a water person (read: i can't swim!) but for the love of A and N i plunged in the pool at P's place in punta fuego. C took this picture as proof. it was really cold that evening (it was even drizzling) so we swam for only about 30 minutes.i am an independent person in more ways than i am dependent of other people but i admit that my friends have a lot to do with who i am and with the decisions that i make. i am blessed with good friends (i think ebench is the best!) that is why i don't have to worry about any other influence from them other than their positive contribution to my life like for instance convincing me to do something as trivial as jumping in an icy cold pool! haha! i know that this is a really shallow example but my friends bring out the best in me in ways only they can - by nudging me when i need a little push and dragging me if they have to, hehe =)
i remembered telling my friends that my grades from grade school to college are the best figures for the theory of the law of diminishing proportions BUT i learned the most in college. it was the "best and worst" of times but i got out of it a real grown up. i got beaten up physically and emotionally not because i allowed people to but because i struggled to find out my real passions. i accept that i'll struggle still but i think i have had enough experiences to let me be the best version of me at the moment - if i'll be better in the future then good if not at least i know i made the best out of the present =)
