passion in almost famous
what do you like about music? to begin with, everything...so says the rocker dude in almost famous...this was during the ending of the movie so it was a sure way to leave me thinking when was the last time i can say that i like or more so love everything about a person or anything at all!so i try to recall the constant people and things in my life, those that have always been there and will never go away...those that keep me going...and now i find myself smiling knowing that i have loved for this long=)
leaving behind my hometown was not an easy decision for me but it made me realize that davao and everything and everyone there will always be a part of me. that every homecoming keeps me grounded and that it is where i truly belong for home is indeed where the heart is.
i have been writing for as long as i can remember. i have tried joining several clubs but the one club or group that i have always been a part of since grade school and until now are publications. i missed the typewriting era. i am starting to be too dependent on technology. but i will always be a pen and paper girl that is why it took me a long while before starting my own blog because i choose to keep an old fashioned diary. now i have both. writing feeds my soul and no other can have the same effect on me.
sports is also something that lifts my spirit. there is something in sweating it out that makes me feel so much better afterwards. i am not really game in trying out new food (don't get me wrong i love food!) but not when it comes to sports in fact just this evening i tried ice skating for the very first time.
then there would also always be my circle of friends. the ones who i know will draw blood for me and i will do the same for them too.
from the very beginning there was also my faith. He never failed me and for that i continue to hold on and believe.

friends week
according to sop gigsters and google it's best friends week this week so inspired by another friend's entry and in the spirit of all this friendship week brouhaha i will be giving my friends the starring role in this entry and as well as in future entries. after all my friends are my pillars and they bring spice to my otherwise boring life...this is my list of thanks to fabulous people who have made me realize that in order for me to happily go with the flow, i have to have trusted friends to keep me afloat...here they are in no particular order=)g for being my soul sister (i think it wasn't a coincidence that we were born on the same day!)

PBB craze
a who works in abs-cbn started all this...it was because of his stories that i decided to watch the premiere of PBB then i saw the PBB house when i visited a and j. back then i can just walk to the door and have my picture taken in the same spot where the housemates entered. the house was so cute that it amazed me how bob and later sam survived sharing that small space with the other housemates. now the house has a gate and guards to ward away people tsk tsk tsk. i am undeniably a fan but i lasted four days of not watching the show and to think i was with d (who's also a fan!) during those four days. i offer some guesses why i got hooked. maybe because i am a. bored, b. a certified tv addict or c. a true blue jologs at heart...and after not much thinking (haha!) i realized it's actually all of the above! so my PBB days are here to stay and while i am at it i'd like to share my top 3 PBB moments =)3 i convinced everyone at a party held at my place to vote for cass during her first nomination night. it was a pre-wedding party for a college friend so our guests were mostly ateneans and la sallians. as expected, some have never even heard of the show but were game enough to spend 2 pesos and fifty cents for a cass vote and all because of my sales talk, go davao! i think they were so amused with me that they shared in my excitement so it was like counting down for new year. i was so relieved that cass wasn't voted out. my friend t texted me after the announcement that even if she doens't like cass her whole family voted for her because i said so. i wish i had more friends like t! haha!
2 i can't believe that jlo and bf rj accompanied moi and p and i to the PBB house. i guess they had no choice since p and i (miss you little kids!) were scheduled to leave the next day for zambo. it was uma's birthday celebration that night so there were many people but not as much as during eviction night (see moment number one for details). it was a fun experience plus we got bonuses because being makati girls it is a treat to sample what qc has to offer starting with halfmoon near the abs-cbn compund and later that evening heaven and eggs in eastwood where we had the most warped spongecola encounter but that's another story right jazz?!
1 my bro and cuz expressed their desire to go visit the PBB house. my bro's trip was cancelled because of health reasons but i still have my cuz to accompany. my friends a and d decided to join us hoping that sam gets evicted that night. after one of the best dinners we ever had in chocolate kiss cafe at the UP Bahay ng Alumni we trooped to abs cbn. we got in the studio courtesy of a and sam got evicted so we went home happy because we saw sam and we even had a photo with sam's mom!

all about halloween
why i like halloween-it was when i realized that i am not a good driver i mean i don't stop before i turn...what's up with that?! haha
-getting lost in goddamn bf in d's poser mini...thanks to "out of here" guy we were able to get back on track...hassle but it was quite an adventure
-i get to be sort of "artistic" and the result spiders with sponge bob smiles (courtesy of d)
-giving out candies to kids in costumes (jack jack's of all sorts were all over the place) was fun even if i had to really watch how much i give or else the candies will be gone in just seconds!
-d and i finished one big box of flat tops along with a week's worth of chips...talk about pig out!
-eating shakey's pizza and chicken with d, p, k and t while talking about pinoy big brother (witches of the south)
-watching chick flicks
-hanging out in CBTL in ATC until it closed
-witness k eat crumpy in a really weird way
-talk about lots of things in between reading magazines in UCC in Westgate
-i discovered that gonuts donuts has gonuts lite already but it's 10 pesos more expensive so i still bought the original anyway
it sure was a fun long break!
